Semrush, Ahrefs, Peec AI or Profound vs a GEO service: what a Luxembourg business actually needs

Short answer: Semrush, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Peec AI and Profound are measuring tools. They show how often ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI assistants mention your brand, and they are very good at it, especially for marketing teams tracking many questions every day. They do not fix anything. Someone still has to read the data, decide what to change and do the work on your website and listings. Letzscale is a service: we test what AI assistants say about you from Luxembourg, in English, French and German, and then fix what is missing or wrong. If you have a marketing team, a tool can be enough. If you run a restaurant, a hotel, a shop or a firm and want it done, a service fits better.

What the tools do well
To be fair, the tools are better than a service at some things:
- Volume and frequency. They can check hundreds of questions every day. A person cannot.
- History. Daily data builds trend lines you can watch over months.
- Price per check. If you only want numbers, a tool is cheaper per month than any agency.
- Scale. Agencies and large brands use them to watch many markets and competitors at once.
If you have someone in-house who knows SEO and will act on the data every week, one of these tools may be all you need.
Where a Luxembourg business usually gets stuck
In our own tests in October 2026, three things decided whether a business was recommended. None of them are fixed by a dashboard:
- Location changes the answer. AI assistants recommended different businesses when the same question was asked from inside or outside Luxembourg. A tool only shows the Luxembourg picture if it is set up for Luxembourg, in the right languages.
- Languages multiply the work. Customers here ask in English, French and German. On many tool plans each language or location uses more of your prompt quota.
- The fix is usually outside the tool. Wrong opening hours on a listing site, a missing Google Business Profile category, a website that AI cannot read, no page that answers what customers ask. A tool can point at the problem. Someone still has to correct Editus, Google, Bing Places, TripAdvisor and your website.
There is also a learning curve. Scores like "share of voice" or "visibility index" are useful to a marketer, but a restaurant owner mainly wants to know: does ChatGPT name me, is what it says correct, and what do I change?

Which one should you choose?
- Choose a tool if you have a marketing person or agency who will check the data every week and make the changes, or if you need to track hundreds of questions across many countries.
- Choose a service like Letzscale if you want someone to find the problems and fix them, if your customers are in Luxembourg and speak several languages, or if you don't have time to learn another dashboard.
- Use both if you already pay for Semrush or Ahrefs: the tool watches trends, the service does the work. Our Monitoring plan is designed for businesses that don't want a tool at all.
About us, honestly: the tools above have far more data than we do. What we add is the Luxembourg focus and doing the work for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is Semrush enough to get recommended by ChatGPT?
Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit shows how ChatGPT and Google AI Mode mention your brand and flags technical issues that block AI crawlers. It does not change your listings or website for you. Whether it is enough depends on whether someone will act on the data.
What is the difference between Peec AI and Semrush?
Peec AI is a stand-alone AI visibility tracker that lets you choose which AI assistants to track. The Semrush toolkit is an add-on inside the wider Semrush SEO suite. Both measure; neither does the fixing.
What is a good Peec AI or Profound alternative for a small business in Luxembourg?
If you want the measuring done for you, plus the fixes, a local service is the alternative. If you want a cheaper tool, check the entry plans of Ahrefs Brand Radar or Peec AI.
Do you use these tools?
Agencies, including us, may use tracking tools as one input. What we sell is not the data but the review, the Luxembourg testing and the fixing.
